1971 was the year Coco Chanel passed away. This suit dates from 1971.

This is one of the last black tweed wool suits she designed.

It is labeled 'Chanel Creations Paris', the pret-a-porter label used until the 'Chanel Boutique' label was created.

The suit is made of a woven tweed with satin trimming and special lionhead buttons.

The jacket is slightly fitted at the waist and like the skirt lined in black silk. 

EU size 36 (French 38-40)

The long skirt (off course it can be easily shortened to your desired length) has a satin band at the waist, which was usual for those times.

The suit is in great Vintage condition, given that it is 50 years old.
